out of the bark
on their trunks--that's what
some trees and shrubs
have.
Cacao beans--which get
turned into
chocolate bars--share
this trait with
the redbud's fruits,
which resemble the pods
of edible peas.
Yesterday, March 30,
I photographed some
redbud blossoms near
the fork of the tree
where they had bloomed out
overnight.
What a joy the springtime can be, when the breeze is light and the sun is warm and such beauty is displayed around every corner!
