And this wasn't actually blue. I just processed it that way to make my neighbor's fluffy black-and-white cat show up a little better.
For some beautiful winter pictures by a professional, go see Dierk Haasis's home page, here, and enjoy the Christmas pictures on his December slide show, too, while you're there.
Yesterday there arrived in the mail, a gift from a younger sister in Texas, two little McDonald's® Happy Meal® Toys -- the special little 5-inch dolls that Madame Alexander® made available through McDonald's® this year. I photographed them in front of the little Christmas stove I got at a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® about 10 years or so ago. This is not the witch's stove from the fairy tale. All the same, Hansel and Gretel may be standing a little too close to that oven door, hmm?
I enjoy writing and taking pictures for my two blogs:
Mary's Musings
and
reckon i should tell this?
And among my favorite places, I include Dierk Haasis's website. He does work in English for an international audience as well as for his German clientele. You'll find him a good resource in photography, writing, business advertising, and much more. Here's his Home page:
