Percy Warner has not changed at all in its beauty since my college days in Nashville 1948-1952. But I saw these scenes in spring, with green branches creating a canopy over the roads. And in the fall, with beautiful leaves still on the trees. The state or federal government, whichever it was, did well to preserve this parkland. Beautiful photography, amazing, even, when caught through the windshield of a car. Thank you, Mary!
Thank you, Carla. It's neither the state nor the federal government which maintains this park. It's Metropolitan Davidson County. http://www.nashville.gov/parks/locations/warner.asp
I enjoy writing and taking pictures for my two blogs:
Mary's Musings
and
reckon i should tell this?
And among my favorite places, I include Dierk Haasis's website. He does work in English for an international audience as well as for his German clientele. You'll find him a good resource in photography, writing, business advertising, and much more. Here's his Home page:
dh2publishing .
Several of his galleries can also be seen at
Imagekind .
